      Screenwriting

Why screenwriting then? That´s a good question. Writing books gives more prestige. Writing novels is easy comparing screenwriting. A fact that many denies.

So why?

Because stories on the screen belongs to the future as well as the present. If I just take a look at my own children: They read a book now and then. But they watch TV, videos and movies all the time!

Another reason is that the possibilities in filmmaking haven't been used up yet. Production companies are obstinate in their production of chewinggum instead of food! I believe that people will get weary of just beeing entertained all the time. They will ask for deeper and more complicated stories. The market consists of more teenagers.

A third reason is my own passion. Film is simply the fastest and most

thrilling, interesting, fascinating and challenging art genre.

Favourite films:

The remains of the day (Återstoden av dagen) - Deer Hunter - The Warrior's Soul (Krigarens själ) - This is Your Life (Här har du ditt liv) - The Piano - Shutter Island

Work exerience:

 I’ve written twenty books.

 I`ve written ten performed plays.

I have also written four featur film screenplays and a handful of short film screenplays. They have all arouse intrest among producers and directors but none of them has been seen on the screen yet...
